Smoke and soot travel with air currents, ending up in rooms that flames never touched, and even inside closed drawers.

Water (from fire suppression) can drip into almost everything, and it takes only 24 to 48 hours for mold spores to open and develop rapidly growing mold colonies.

We promise to arrive as soon as possible because we know fire damage and water damage get worse over time.

Count on us to:

  • Remove fire damage from the structure and belongings
  • Clean and disinfect all surfaces, even those you can’t see
  • Extract water if necessary, apply structural drying techniques
  • Use state-of-the-art drying techniques for documents and photographs
  • Check electronics for smoke damage
  • Mitigate any mold damage
  • Work directly with most insurance companies
  • Provide roof tarps and board-ups if necessary
  • If needed, we can provide or arrange for pack-up and move-out services

…and Now, Some Words from Our Department of Nearly Useless Information…

Fire is dramatic, especially when it is fictional and on-screen.

Some Movies with “fire” (or something like it) in the title:

  • City on Fire (1979) directed by Alvin Rakoff. There’s nothing metaphorical about the fire. A major fire really does threaten a city in this movie.
  • Backdraft (1991) directed by Ron Howard. It has nothing to do with a backbeat, which is too bad because we still don’t understand that term. On the other hand, action movies are always a plus.
  • Firestorm (1998) directed by Dean Semler is another action movie plus it’s a thriller, which we think means it has some scary bits.
  • Fire Serpent (2007), directed by John Terlesky, sounds like genre trifecta; it’s about a fire-formed extra-terrestrial being that sets fire to, then terrorizes, a city. Outer space, monsters, and action: all you need is popcorn and you have perfection!
